Police probe over double street shooting in Aston

Detectives have launched an inquiry after two men were found with gunshot wounds in Birmingham.

A 27-year-old man was discovered at an address in Estone Walk, Aston, after being shot in the hand, in the early hours of Saturday morning.

A second man was then found in Park Lane, Aston, with a gunshot wound to his lower back.

Both men are said to be in a stable condition in hospital last night and police were conducting house-to-house inquiries in the area.

Park Lane was closed to its junction with Burlington Street on Saturday while police investigated the scene.
