Laptops stolen from Birmingham school

Sixteen laptops have been stolen from a Birmingham school.

The theft happened at Great Barr School on Aldridge Road over the weekend.

Detective Chief Inspector Paul Keasey said: "We would like to urge staff at schools in the area to be extra vigilant and review their security to ensure that they are not targeted in a similar offence."

If anyone is asked to buy a Samsung N120 laptop, they should contact police, he said.

Anyone with information about the theft should call Sutton Coldfield police station on 08451 135000 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
