Teenage boy airlifted to hospital after Warwickshire road crash

A teenage boy has been airlifted to hospital following a road traffic collision involving a car in Warwickshire.

The accident happened at the junction of School Road and Birmingham Road in Alcester at around 12.50pm on Friday.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “The boy, believed to be 15 years old, suffered pain in his pelvis and a head injury in the collision.

“Crews assessed and treated the boy’s injuries on scene, immobilising him with a neck collar, spinal board and pelvic splint, before he was flown to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for further assessment and treatment.”
