The body of a man has been found in the garden of a house in Birmingham.

West Midlands Police cordoned off a house at the junction of Dyas Road and Old Oscott Lane, in Kingstanding, following the discovery on Monday afternoon.

A force spokesman said the death was being treated as “unexplained”.

A post-mortem examination was due to take place on Tuesday to determine the cause of the man’s death.

Police officers were in the area conducting house-to-house inquiries.
