Trial of man accused of murdering Birmingham taxi driver delayed

The trial of a 29-year-old Birmingham man accused of murdering a taxi driver has been put back.

Andrew Bayliss had been due to stand trial at Worcester Crown Court on Monday, but the hearing was postponed until Thursday because he is unwell.

Bayliss, of Ratcliffe Avenue, Kings Norton, denies the murder of Mohammed Arshad, who was stabbed in north Worcestershire on July 22, 2009.

Mr Arshad, 36, was admitted to hospital but died the following day.
