Motorway shut near Worcester after gas-car crash

A section of a motorway has been closed after a crash involving a gas-powered car near Worcester.

Firefighters were called to the crash between junction one and two of the M50.

Both carriageways were closed to allow crews to deal with a "significant" liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) leak, a spokeswoman for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said.

The westbound carriageway was later reopened but the eastbound stretch remained closed.

No one was injured in the crash.
