A person has died in a road traffic collision in West Bromwich early this morning (Thursday).

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Holloway Bank, West Bromwich at around 2.20am. An ambulance, paramedic in a rapid response car and an incident support officer attended the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find a single vehicle involved in a road traffic collision.

“Sadly, it quickly became apparent to crews that nothing could be done to save the patient and the casualty was confirmed dead at the scene.”
