Six teenagers have been injured after a car crashed into a bus stop near Brownhills.

The incident happened at the junction of Lindon View and Friezland Lane in Walsall Wood shortly before 3.15pm on Thursday.

The teenagers, two girls and four boys, had been waiting at the bus stop when the car left the road.

One of the teenage boys was treated at the scene for a fractured leg before being taken to Walsall Manor Hospital.

The five other casualties were all treated for minor injuries. Ambulance crews took two of five patients to Walsall Manor hospital for further assessment and treatment.
